"For we are His workmanship," Paul tells us in his letter to the Ephesians. Though His atoning work was complete at Calvary, Jesus is yet at work, purifying His bride. With Your Gold to Refine we have sought to be a tool in the Master's hand, believing that understanding the call to be sanctified is the first step in the call to be sanctified. We looked at our corporate calling, that we together are the bride. We considered how this calling works in our homes. We remembered and rejoiced in the reality that it is He Who works in us, that even our sanctification comes by His grace. And we looked with hope to the end of our sanctification, when we shall be like Him. Sanctification isn't a doctrine; it's a calling. Indeed it is the calling of the Christian, to be made evermore into the image of Christ, the express image of the glory of the Father.
